Daily Service Hours:
Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and Wednesdays 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Appointments are necessary to obtain services and are made at 9:00 am for that day only. Appointments may be made for the following day on a first-come basis by calling (404) 659-7119 after 9:15 am.
We Assist With:
- Obtaining Georgia identification cards
- Obtaining birth certificates (most states & countries)
- Transportation (MARTA assistance for medical and work related purposes only)
- Food (ONLY with a current rent receipt, lease or utility bill in guest's name. Available between 9 am and 11 am.) ID also required. No appointment is needed.
- Limited medical needs (eye exams, glasses, limited dental)
- Referrals (for clothing, legal services, shelter, mental health and drug/alcohol recovery programs)
- Central Winter Night Shelter (Men only - Guests for the shelter MUST be referred by the Center)
- Coffee, tea or water with a snack each morning
- Pastoral Counseling (when requested)
Other Services & Programs:
- Monthly Eye Clinic (check Center for day and time)
- Hair Cuts on the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month
- HIV/AIDS education & testing on the 2nd & 4th Friday of each month from 9 am to noon
- Mobile Health Clinic on the 1st, 3rd & 5th Friday of each month
- Nurse on duty every Thursday morning
- Weekly Chapel Service (check Center for day and time)
- Arts Ministry every Thursday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am
- Legal Advocates from the Georgia Law Center for the Homeless (family law, assistance for those attempting to qualify for SSDI) (check with the Center for day and time)
