In addition to our Outreach programs, Central OAC practices public policy advocacy that calls our community to build better structures of care and dismantle systems that cause homelessness.
Guided by the experiences of our guests, we investigate policies and practices that create barriers to recovery and share our insights with citizens, elected officials and organizations that care for our homeless neighbors.
We build relationships that magnify the power of our shared convictions. We maintain a presence in government proceedings when decisions are being made and we mobilize our network at key points in policy-making processes.
